Mrs Vishav, based in Dehradun, started cycling at the age of 62 years in December 2015 for relieving knee problems which had been pushing her out off track of healthy life. She had also been facing back problems since 2004 & was not able to walk little longer without back belt and knee caps.
Her son motivated her to take up cycling. In poor health, she was initially very reluctant. Her son kept on encouraging & motivating her to learn how to ride bicycle as she had never cycled before. That motivation turned her life. Starting from 200meters, today the couple have cycled up to 200+ kms per day. A saga of true grit, regular practice, and great bit courage to beat back fear.
