She has traveled, extensively in India, too. Right from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. From Gaumukh(source of Ganges) to Gangasagar(the Ganges merge into the sea). From Ladakh Himalayas to Andaman islands.
Doing things beyond the ordinary, this is Indu.

Indu with co-walkers during Atulya Ganga Parikrama traversing the both banks of sacred river Ganga.
Indu did not stop even after this monumental accomplishment. She continued delving into the Ganga realm. From being a world explorer, she turned into a Ganga explorer. Indu has travelled across all 7 continents of the world. However, her epic journey on foot changed the trajectory of her travels. Now she is a perennial Ganga walker, weaving Ganga stories on foot and sharing them with a worldwide audience
Besides portraying engrossing tales Indu educates people on Ganga pollution as well. In 2022, she also carried a Ganga Knowledge Series on her social media.
Indu also discovered the ancient mountain route of yatra between Yamunotri and Gangotri valley. She hired experienced mountain instructors and trekked the whole mountain ridge between Yamunotri valley and Gangotri valley
In 2023, Indu has already walked 340 km this year to explore Ganga wetlands of International significance, known as Ramsar sites. She walked on several floodplains and met farmers there.
During her Ganga walks, she identifies sites of historical importance along Ganga.
She visited Gurukuls as well, interacted with faculties and students there. By visiting Gurukuls Indu observed the Gurukul way of education which holds high value in the spiritual ecosystem of Ganga ji.
Holding high the heritage of Atulya Ganga Parikrama, Indu is inspiring and motivating people to experience the traditions and culture along Ganga and to contribute towards a pollution free pious Ganga.
